FFL Transfers for California Residents

Cal Guns Depot handles FFL transfers for California residents with attention to state requirements. We accept shipments from other licensed dealers and private sellers. All transfers must comply with California law.

For handguns, California requires a 10-day waiting period after DROS submission. Long guns also have a 10-day wait. You must complete a Firearm Safety Certificate test for handgun purchases. We’ll guide you through the paperwork.

Required documents include a valid California ID, proof of residency, and your FSC for handguns. We verify all information before processing. Background checks are conducted through the California DOJ system.
