The Apex Durable Striker is a direct drop-in replacement for the factory striker in your FN 509 Series pistol, designed specifically for shooters who prioritize reliability and longevity. Priced at $75, this component is built to handle the demands of frequent dry-fire practice, a critical aspect of skill development for any firearm owner.
This striker has been rigorously tested and certified for over 125,000 dry strikes on an empty chamber. That certification is the result of more than three years of research and development, with over one million dry fires logged to validate the design. The sear catch geometry has been improved to deliver a crisp trigger break while maintaining secure sear-to-striker engagement, ensuring your pistol performs consistently shot after shot.
Machined from heat-treated tool steel with a Nickel Teflon finish, this striker offers superior lubricity and wear resistance. The finish reduces friction, which helps maintain smooth operation over the long service life. Included in the package is a proprietary buffer that installs into the slide to dampen the shockwave created by dry-firing, protecting your firearm’s internals. A 6mm x 60mm Socket Head Cap screw is also provided as a removal tool for routine cleaning and maintenance.

Using another manufacturer’s spring kit can cause malfunctions, and technical support cannot be provided if our parts are combined with those of other companies.
