About the Rossi M92 45 Colt

If you are looking for a classic lever-action that shoots straight and feels like an heirloom from the first time you work the action, the rossi m92 45 colt lever-action rifle with 24-inch octagon barrel (cosmetic blemishes) is worth a serious look. This is the same rifle that has earned a reputation among cowboy action shooters and brush-country hunters for its smooth cycling and dead-on accuracy, but it comes at a price that reflects a few storage marks or finish scuffs rather than any functional issue. What you get is a working gun that will serve you for decades, for less than you would expect to pay for a clean example.

Overview

The Rossi M92 is a modern take on the Winchester 1892 platform, updated with a safety transfer bar and a rebounding hammer while keeping the smooth, short-throw lever that made the original famous. Chambered in 45 Colt, this model features a full-length 24-inch octagon barrel that gives you a longer sight radius and a more traditional feel on the range or in the field. The barrel is rifled with a 1:38 twist, which handles standard 250-grain lead loads and modern jacketed bullets equally well. Because this is a cosmetic blemish unit, the bluing may show light scuffs or a shadowed patch near the forearm, but the metal is solid, the wood is tight, and the action cycles without drag.
