About the Rossi RS22 22LR Semi-Automatic

The Rossi RS22 22LR semi-automatic rimfire rifle with threaded barrel delivers a reliable, budget-conscious platform for plinking, small game hunting, and target shooting. Built on a proven blowback action, this rifle chambers the ubiquitous .22 Long Rifle cartridge and offers the versatility of a factory-threaded muzzle for suppressor or muzzle device attachment. The RS22 is engineered to provide consistent cycling with standard and high-velocity ammunition, making it a practical choice for shooters who demand function without unnecessary complexity.

Overview

Rossi has designed the RS22 to bridge the gap between affordability and performance. The rossi rs22 22lr semi-automatic rimfire rifle with threaded barrel features a 10-round detachable magazine, a synthetic stock with textured grip panels, and an 18-inch barrel. The factory-installed threaded barrel (1/2x28 TPI) allows direct attachment of sound suppressors or compensators, a feature typically found on higher-priced rimfire rifles. A fiber optic front sight and adjustable rear sight provide clear sight acquisition, while the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting. The manual cross-bolt safety adds a layer of security, and the bolt hold-open device locks the action open after the last round is fired.
