This Winchester Model 1892 rifle is chambered in .25-20 WCF and has a 24-inch barrel. Serial number 580006 dates it to 1909. The supplier rates it in excellent condition with about 75 percent of the original blue remaining, and describes the wood as very fine. The store lists the rifle as used.

A 1909 rifle in .25-20 WCF suits a collector who wants an older Winchester for display, or a shooter who will inspect the bore and action in person before taking it home. The 24-inch barrel and surviving blue describe the configuration, and a hands-on check with the dealer settles how the metal and wood look side by side before the rifle leaves the shop. The wood is the one part the supplier rates as very fine, so it deserves a close look.
