This used WW2 German AC 42 code P.38 is a 9mm semi-automatic pistol made in 1942, with a 4.75-inch barrel. The listing notes that the barrel is a replacement and that the magazine is not original to the pistol. It has original bakelite grips, and the finish is in fair condition with moderate wear and handling marks. The bore has strong rifling with some frosting in the grooves, and the action is smooth and functions properly.

The P.38 configuration suits a collector of wartime German handguns or a shooter who wants a vintage 9mm for range use. Its smooth action and original bakelite grips appeal to a buyer who values original parts. The listing flags the replacement barrel and the non-original magazine, so the pistol suits a collector who reads the details closely.
