This design provides more precise finger placement, increased comfort, and a more positive shooting experience compared to the original Browning Hi-Power trigger design. The trigger is DLC coated for superior corrosion and wear resistance, ensuring long-term durability through regular use and handling.

Hi Tilt Spur Hammer: This hammer is inspired by the work of Jim Boland, a custom pistolsmith known for his 1911 race pistol designs. The Hi Tilt Spur eliminates the need for a clearance pocket typically cut into beavertail grip safeties, allowing you to achieve the highest possible grip on the pistol. The hammer integrates both an over-cocking limit pad and a spur angle designed to prevent hammer bite. The hammer hook geometry is uniquely matched to the Mk 1 Balanced Sear for consistent engagement.

Mk 1 Balanced Sear: The sear’s nose geometry is engineered to precisely match the hammer hook profile, eliminating the need to stone or alter engagement surfaces. This yields a clean, crisp trigger break when used with the included hammer, providing a predictable and repeatable pull every time.

Balanced Sear Lever & Sear Lever Spring: These components address a limitation of the original Browning design. The sear lever can experience inertia-related rotation as the slide goes into battery, which historically limited how light and crisp a pull could be achieved. By balancing the sear lever and biasing it away from the sear’s contact pad with the included spring, hammer follow at pull weights below 4 pounds is virtually eliminated. This allows for a lighter, more refined trigger without compromising safety.
