This low-profile magwell is designed specifically for the Springfield SA-35 and Browning Hi-Power, offering a practical upgrade for faster, more consistent reloads. It creates a larger, colosseum-style entry funnel at the magazine well, which helps guide magazines into place with less fumbling and reduces the chance of a missed insertion during a reload. The overall length added to the frame is just 1/4 inch, so you get meaningful assistance without a bulky or oversized profile.

The magwell’s internal geometry is engineered to work with the SA-35’s factory frame bevels, improving the alignment between the magazine and the frame channel. This means magazines seat more smoothly and reliably, which directly translates to faster reloads with fewer errors. Installation is straightforward and requires only simple hand tools—no frame cutting or welding is needed on SA-35 models, resulting in a near-seamless fit. Please note that Browning Hi-Power and Girsan frames will require minor alterations for proper attachment.

Critical Compatibility Note: This magwell is designed for use with Apex 17 or 19 round magazines. It is not compatible with factory Springfield SA-35 or Browning Hi-Power magazines. For best performance, we also recommend pairing this magwell with grip panels made exclusively by LOK Grips that are cut for the Apex Low-Profile Magwell.
