About the Rossi Model 92 357

Rossi Model 92 357 Mag / 38 Special Carbine

The Rossi Model 92 357 Mag / 38 Special Carbine is a lever-action rifle built on the legacy of the Winchester 1892 design, adapted for modern shooters who demand reliability in a compact package. Chambered for both .357 Magnum and .38 Special cartridges, this carbine offers versatile ammunition compatibility without compromising on action smoothness. With a 20-inch round barrel, blued steel finish, and a classic hardwood stock, it presents a balance of traditional aesthetics and contemporary utility for the American firearms market.

Overview

This carbine is a direct descendant of John Browning's original 1892 action, refined by Rossi for current production standards. The rossi model 92 357 mag/38 special carbine features a full-length magazine tube with a capacity of 10 rounds of .357 Magnum or 10 rounds of .38 Special. The action cycles both cartridge types interchangeably, making it a practical choice for range practice with lower-recoil .38 Special loads while retaining full-power .357 Magnum capability for hunting or defense. The rear sight is a semi-buckhorn style, adjustable for elevation, paired with a brass bead front sight for quick target acquisition in variable lighting conditions.
