Overview

The Rossi R351 38 Special DA/SA Police Trade-In Revolver is a double-action/single-action revolver chambered in .38 Special, featuring a 2-inch barrel and a six-round cylinder. Rossi, a Brazilian manufacturer with decades of experience, designed this model for reliability in high-stress environments. As a police trade-in, each revolver has a history of departmental service, meaning it was carried regularly but fired sparingly. The steel frame and rubber grips provide a solid, controllable platform for both training and personal defense. These are not safe queens; they are working tools with visible wear that speaks to their heritage.

Features & Specs

• Action Type: Double-action/single-action (DA/SA) with a smooth trigger pull in double-action mode and a crisp single-action break. The cylinder swings out for quick loading and unloading via the ejector rod.
• Caliber & Capacity: .38 Special, 6-round cylinder. Accepts standard pressure and +P loads, giving flexibility for practice or defensive use.
• Barrel & Sights: 2-inch barrel with fixed front and rear sights. The fixed sights are zeroed for combat distances, and the short barrel makes the revolver easy to carry concealed or in an ankle holster.
• Construction: All-steel frame and cylinder, with a matte blue finish that shows the aforementioned wear. Rubber grips reduce felt recoil and provide a non-slip hold even in wet conditions.
• Trade-In Condition: Each revolver has been function-checked. Expect finish wear, holster marks, and possible minor surface rust that does not affect function. Grips may show scuffs.
