About the Rossi R92 .45 Colt

Overview

You are looking at a straight shooter that does not pretend to be a safe queen. This Rossi R92 .45 Colt lever-action carbine with stainless barrel (cosmetic blemishes) is the kind of rifle that wants to go to work, get knocked around in a saddle scabbard, or ride behind the truck seat. It chambers the classic .45 Colt round, giving you a solid combination of manageable recoil and real stopping power in a package that handles like a fast swing. The stainless barrel resists rust and foul weather, while the cosmetic blemishes—some scuffs, light handling marks, or a minor finish irregularity—mean you get a functional, reliable rifle at a price that makes sense for a hard-use gun. This is a factory-second cosmetic blemish model, not a used firearm, and it functions exactly like a first-run rifle.

Features & Specs

The Rossi R92 .45 Colt lever-action carbine with stainless barrel (cosmetic blemishes) is built around a smooth, short-throw lever action that cycles fast and feels natural in the hand. It takes the same proven action that has been running for decades, now with a stainless barrel that sheds corrosion. The carbine-length barrel keeps the overall length short for easy maneuvering, and the tubular magazine holds enough .45 Colt rounds for a day at the range or a trail ride. Here is what you get out of the box:

• Chambered in .45 Colt with a 16-inch stainless barrel and a 1:16 twist rate for stable bullet flight with standard and +P loads.
• Overall length of 33 inches with an unloaded weight of around 5.4 pounds, making it a light, fast-handling carbine for the field or truck gun role.
• Blued steel receiver and furniture-grade hardwood stock with a straight grip, plus a crescent buttplate that tucks into the shoulder cleanly.

Mechanically, the rifle uses a hammer-block safety and a firing pin transfer bar, so you can carry it with the hammer down on a live round without worry. The rear sight is a semi-buckhorn adjustable for elevation, and the front is a brass bead that picks up fast in low light. The Rossi R92 .45 Colt lever-action carbine with stainless barrel (cosmetic blemishes) also accepts common aftermarket parts like fiber optic sights and leather lever wraps, so you can dial it in exactly how you like.
