About the Rossi R92 Carbine 357

When you need a lever-action that bridges the gap between classic handling and modern durability, the Rossi R92 Carbine 357 Magnum Rifle with 20 Inch Barrel and Gray Laminate Stock delivers exactly that. Chambered in the versatile .357 Magnum, this rifle accepts .38 Special for economical practice while retaining full-power magnum performance for hunting or defense. The 20-inch barrel balances maneuverability with a longer sight radius, while the gray laminate stock resists moisture and temperature swings better than traditional wood. This is a straight-shooting, reliable carbine built for American shooters who demand practical performance without unnecessary frills.

Overview

The Rossi R92 is a modern interpretation of the classic Winchester 1892 action, scaled for pistol-caliber cartridges. The 20-inch barrel provides a full-length magazine tube that holds ten rounds, and the gray laminate stock offers dimensional stability in humid or arid conditions. The action cycles smoothly with both .357 Magnum and .38 Special loads, making it a dual-purpose firearm for range sessions and field use. The buckhorn rear sight and brass bead front sight are standard, and the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting if you prefer optics. This is a carbine that does not compromise on function or fit.

The lever throw is short and positive, allowing quick follow-up shots. The barrel is button-rifled for consistent accuracy, and the crown is protected by a recessed muzzle. The gray laminate is not merely cosmetic; it is a composite of hardwood veneers bonded under pressure, reducing the risk of warping that can affect solid wood stocks in changing environments.
