Overview

This Rossi revolver is a classic six-shooter built on a compact steel frame. It was originally carried by officers who needed a reliable backup or off-duty piece. Now, it is available as a police trade-in, meaning each gun shows honest wear from service but has been function-checked before leaving the department. The rossi rossi 32 cal police trade-in revolver is chambered for .32 S&W Long, a cartridge known for its light recoil and accuracy. It is a practical choice for plinking, target shooting, or home defense. At a price point well under what you would pay for a new revolver, this is an opportunity to own a piece of working gun history without breaking the bank.

Features & Specs

Rossi built these with no-nonsense construction, and the police trade-in status means they were maintained on a regular schedule. Here are the key details you need to know:

• Manufacturer: Rossi. Category: Revolvers. Action: Double-action/single-action with a six-round cylinder.
• Barrel length typically around 3 inches, with fixed sights for quick acquisition. Finish shows holster wear, bluing may be thin in spots, but the mechanicals are intact.
• Chambered in .32 S&W Long (also accepts .32 S&W short). Smooth trigger pull in single action, heavier but manageable in double action.

Do not expect a safe queen. These revolvers have honest handling marks, but the lockup is tight, the timing is correct, and the bore is generally good. Rossi built these to work, and they still do.
