Each revolver shows some holster wear, maybe a few handling marks, but the cylinders lock up tight and the actions are smooth. It is a straightforward tool for self-defense, range practice, or as a bedside companion.

Features & Specs

This revolver keeps things simple and effective. Here is what you can expect from the Rossi M88 38 Special Police Trade-In Revolver:

• Caliber: .38 Special (5-round cylinder). Accepts standard pressure and +P loads for defensive use.
• Barrel Length: 2-inch barrel with fixed sights. The front sight is a serrated ramp, the rear is a fixed notch.
• Frame and Finish: All-steel construction with a matte blue finish. Typical holster wear and minor scuffs from police carry are present.

Additional specs include a double-action/single-action trigger system, a shrouded ejector rod, and a rubber grip that offers a secure hold even in wet conditions. The overall length is approximately 6.8 inches, making it easy to slip into a pocket holster or an ankle rig. The cylinder release is the traditional push-button style, and the revolver weighs about 22 ounces empty, which helps tame recoil without being too heavy to carry.

• Action: Double-action and single-action. The double-action pull is smooth for a trade-in, while single-action breaks cleanly.
• Safety: Transfer bar safety system. This revolver is drop-safe and will not fire unless the trigger is pulled fully.
• Condition: Police trade-in with visible wear. Mechanically sound, with good bore and timing. No box or papers included.
