Features & Specs

Springfield Armory has engineered the Emissary with specific enhancements that set it apart from standard production 1911s. The slide features a unique combination of front serrations and a lightened profile for faster cycling and easier manipulation. The forged carbon steel frame and slide are finished in a durable Cerakote coating, providing corrosion resistance and a low-glare appearance. The trigger system is a solid aluminum, skeletonized unit with an adjustable trigger stop, delivering a crisp break and short reset. The VZ G10 grips provide aggressive texturing for a secure purchase even in wet conditions, without adding excessive bulk to the grip circumference.
