This Austrian Bayonet Model 1867 is nickel plated and listed in very good condition. It was used on the Werndel carbine and the M-1872 Fruwirth Gendarmerie carbine. The bayonet is marked used under SKU MEW1415 in the bayonets group of the catalog, and the carbine links are the main historical detail the listing gives.

The bayonet suits a collector of 19th-century bayonets who wants a piece tied to two named carbines. The nickel plating is the finish to inspect, since the listing describes it directly and the buyer will see it first in any photos. Because the bayonet is an accessory, the buying decision rests on its finish, its carbine connections and its listed very good condition. The listing covers both the nickel finish and the carbine history in a short description.
