This Remington-Smoot New Model No. 1 is a factory engraved revolver with a five-shot .30 caliber cylinder, which the supplier gives as 13/16 inch in measurement. No serial number is listed, and the supplier describes it as a first model. The finish is rated at about 90 percent, with the main loss on the cylinder, and the grips are rated excellent. The store lists it as an antique in used condition.

An engraved antique revolver in .30 caliber suits a collector who wants a display piece with most of its original finish intact. Because the listing has no serial number, the dealer should confirm identification before the revolver is released to the buyer. The remaining finish and the excellent grips are the parts a buyer can judge directly at the counter.
