This fuchi kashira set has a polished copper stone ground with a design of monkey mothers and babies. Gold highlights accent the carving, and the piece is unsigned. It is listed as used under SKU MGJ506 in the Japanese swords and fittings group, and it is a sword fitting rather than a complete weapon.

The set suits a collector who wants an animal-motif fitting in copper and gold. The mother-and-baby subject gives the piece a clear theme, which makes it a good match for a themed display of sword mounts. Because the piece is unsigned, the buyer is choosing it for the design and the metalwork rather than for a named maker, so the photos and description are the main guides.
