This kinko kodzuka shows a flowering plum tree behind an ornate checkered wall of silver. The flowers are silver, the branches are gold, and the background is shakudo. The piece is unsigned but attributed to the Kaga School by the N.B.T.H.K. It is listed as used under SKU MGJ562 in the Japanese swords and fittings group.

The kodzuka suits a buyer who studies attribution in Japanese sword fittings, since the Kaga School link is the main point of interest on an unsigned piece. The mix of silver flowers, gold branches and a shakudo background gives the design several metals to compare. Because the attribution is the detail that most affects a buyer's decision, read the listing wording carefully before ordering.
