About the Rossi M92 .45 Colt

Overview

The Rossi M92 .45 Colt lever action carbine with 16-inch round barrel (cosmetic blemishes) is a production-grade firearm that replicates the classic Winchester 1892 action in a modern, practical package. Chambered in the venerable .45 Colt cartridge, this carbine offers shooters a reliable repeating platform with a 16-inch barrel for improved balance and maneuverability. The cosmetic blemishes on this model refer to minor surface imperfections in the bluing or wood finish that do not affect function, accuracy, or mechanical integrity. Each unit is factory-tested and fully functional, making it a cost-effective entry point for those seeking a traditional lever-action rifle without paying a premium for cosmetic perfection.

Features & Specs

This Rossi M92 .45 Colt lever action carbine with 16-inch round barrel (cosmetic blemishes) is built on a forged steel receiver with a blued finish. The 16-inch round barrel is rifled with a 1:38 twist rate, optimized for standard .45 Colt ammunition. The action features a smooth, short-throw lever design derived from the original Browning patent, allowing rapid cycling. The tubular magazine holds 10 rounds of .45 Colt, providing ample capacity for range use or field carry. The carbine weighs approximately 5.5 pounds unloaded, with an overall length of 33 inches. Sights include a brass bead front post and an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight. The straight-grip stock and forend are crafted from Brazilian hardwood, with a satin oil finish that may show minor grain variations or handling marks consistent with the blemished designation.
