About the Rossi M92 .45 Colt

If you have been looking for a classic lever-action that handles like a dream and chambers the versatile .45 Colt round, the Rossi M92 .45 Colt Lever Action Carbine with 20-Inch Round Barrel (Cosmetic Blemishes) is a find worth your attention. The cosmetic blemishes are exactly what they sound like—surface-level marks, scuffs, or finish inconsistencies that do not affect the function or accuracy of the firearm. This is the same solid carbine you would expect from Rossi, offered at a price that makes it an incredible value for someone who wants a shooter, not a safe queen.

Overview

The Rossi M92 is a faithful adaptation of the legendary Winchester 1892 action, scaled specifically for the .45 Colt cartridge. This particular model, the Rossi M92 .45 Colt Lever Action Carbine with 20-Inch Round Barrel (Cosmetic Blemishes), features a 20-inch round barrel that balances perfectly for both shoulder firing and off-hand shooting. It is a slim, fast-handling carbine that cycles smoothly and feeds reliably. The action is tight, the lever throw is short, and the overall build quality is exactly what you would expect from a company that has been making lever guns for generations. The only difference between this rifle and a new-in-box model is the cosmetic wear, which often amounts to a light scuff on the stock or a small mark on the receiver. Mechanically, it is ready to hit the range.

Features & Specs

This carbine is built around a forged steel receiver and a 20-inch blued round barrel. It uses a tube magazine under the barrel, giving you a generous capacity for a lever gun. The rear sight is an open buckhorn, and the front sight is a blade, both of which are quick to acquire for fast target transitions. Here is a quick rundown of what you get:

• Caliber: .45 Colt, a classic and powerful round suitable for target shooting, plinking, and even medium-game hunting.
• Barrel Length: 20 inches, offering a good balance between maneuverability and velocity.
• Action: Lever action with a short-throw lever, based on the iconic Winchester 1892 design.
• Finish: Blued steel with a hardwood stock. Cosmetic blemishes are present but do not affect function.

The rifle also features a tang safety, which is a modern addition that gives you an extra layer of security when the hammer is down. The stock and forend are made from hardwood, giving it a traditional look and feel. Overall length is around 38 inches, making it handy for carrying in a truck, on an ATV, or through the woods.
