About the Rossi Rio Grande .30-30

Overview

If you have been shopping for a dependable lever gun without paying top dollar, the Rossi Rio Grande .30-30 Win lever-action rifle (cosmetic blemishes) is worth a close look. These rifles come from Rossi with minor surface marks, scratches, or slight finish inconsistencies that do not affect function or accuracy. The blemishes are usually on the stock or metal finish, and once you get it in your hands you will likely find them hard to spot. What you get is a solid, working lever-action chambered in a classic deer cartridge at a price that leaves room for a scope and ammo. This is the same rifle that has built a reputation for reliable feeding and smooth cycling straight from the box. The Rossi Rio Grande .30-30 Win lever-action rifle (cosmetic blemishes) gives you the same internals, barrel, and action as a new rifle, just with a few honest marks from the factory.

Features & Specs

The Rossi Rio Grande is built on a traditional side-ejection design that keeps the top of the receiver clear for scope mounting. It feeds .30-30 Winchester rounds reliably from a tubular magazine and cycles quickly thanks to a smooth action that breaks in nicely after a few range trips. Here is what you can expect from this cosmetic blemish model:

• Caliber: .30-30 Winchester, a proven round for whitetail deer and medium game out to 200 yards
• Barrel length: 20 inches with a blued finish and a 1:12 twist rate for stable bullet flight
• Overall length: 38.5 inches with a weight of approximately 6.5 pounds, making it easy to carry through brush

Additional details that matter in the field:

• Tube magazine capacity: 5 rounds (varies by state regulations)
• Stock: Brazilian hardwood with a satin finish, checkered at the grip and forend
• Sights: adjustable buckhorn rear and brass bead front, with a drilled and tapped receiver for scope mounts

Because these are factory seconds with cosmetic blemishes, you may see light scuffs on the stock or a small patch of discoloration on the metal. The action, barrel, and chamber meet Rossi's standard tolerances. Every rifle is function-tested before it leaves the factory.
