About the Springfield 1911 TRP 10mm

Overview

The Springfield 1911 TRP 10mm Long Slide with Trijicon RMR Reflex Sight and Range Bag represents a precision-engineered evolution of the classic 1911 platform, purpose-built for shooters who demand extended sight radius and enhanced terminal performance. This model combines a 6-inch barrel with the proven TRP (Tactical Response Pistol) frame, delivering increased velocity and reduced recoil impulse through the powerful 10mm Auto cartridge. Factory-equipped with a Trijicon RMR reflex sight and shipped complete with a dedicated range bag, this package eliminates the need for aftermarket slide milling or separate accessory purchases. The long slide configuration provides a full 1.5 inches of additional sight radius over standard Government models, improving accuracy at distance while maintaining the weight needed to manage the 10mm cartridge effectively.
