About the Springfield 2020 Waypoint .308

When you pick up the Springfield 2020 Waypoint .308 Win bolt-action rifle with carbon fiber barrel and evergreen camo stock, the first thing you notice is the balance. It sits right in your hands, neither barrel-heavy nor butt-heavy, just neutral. That is the hallmark of a well-designed hunting rifle, and Springfield Armory nailed it with this build. The carbon fiber barrel shaves off significant weight without sacrificing the stiffness you need for consistent sub-MOA accuracy, while the evergreen camo stock blends into timber and mountain terrain alike. This is a rifle built for the hunter who values a light carry on a long ridge line but refuses to compromise on downrange precision.

Overview

The Springfield 2020 Waypoint is a purpose-driven bolt-action chambered in .308 Winchester, featuring a carbon fiber-wrapped barrel and a hand-laid evergreen camo stock. It bridges the gap between a custom shop gun and a production rifle, offering trigger tech triggers, a threaded muzzle, and a three-lug bolt with a 60-degree throw. The .308 Win chambering gives you proven terminal performance on deer, hogs, and black bear, with readily available match and hunting ammunition.
