About the Springfield XDM Elite Compact

Built for shooters who demand precision in a concealable format, the Springfield XDM Elite Compact 9mm Pistol with Hex Dragonfly Red Dot bridges the gap between full-size duty performance and everyday carry practicality. This factory-integrated optics-ready configuration pairs Springfield Armory's proven polymer frame platform with the crisp, fast-acquisition Hex Dragonfly red dot sight, delivering a cohesive shooting system out of the box. The compact slide and 3.8-inch barrel reduce overall length while retaining a 15+1 round capacity, making this an ideal choice for defensive use without sacrificing magazine commonality with full-size models. Each pistol includes two magazines, a paddle holster, and a magazine loader.

Overview

The Springfield XDM Elite Compact 9mm Pistol with Hex Dragonfly Red Dot represents a purpose-built evolution of the XD-M platform, optimized for concealed carry and home defense. The 3.8-inch hammer-forged barrel with Melonite finish provides corrosion resistance and long service life, while the Hex Dragonfly red dot offers a 3.5 MOA dot for rapid target transitions. The frame features an interchangeable backstrap system with three sizes, a loaded chamber indicator, and a grip zone texture that maintains control under recoil. The trigger breaks at a consistent 5.5 to 6.0 pounds with a short reset, enabling faster follow-up shots. This model ships with a TLR-6 compatible rail and a low-profile carry cut that reduces snag risk.
