Unlike aluminum plates that can flex under recoil, the steel construction maintains zero retention even during extended range sessions. The mount interfaces directly with the factory slide cut on FNX-45 Tactical models only — there is no need for additional fitting or slide modification.
Fitment notes: This mount is designed exclusively for the FNX-45 Tactical. If you are running the Steiner MPS optic, Apex recommends pairing this mount with their Super Clamp to expand the clamping range of the MPS. This ensures proper engagement and prevents any shifting during use.

The included screws are treated with thread locker at the factory so you can install the mount immediately without digging out a bottle of Loctite. If you misplace the Apex screws, the short 5-40 threaded mounting screws that came with your FNX-45 Tactical are a direct substitute.
