About the Springfield 1911 Marine Corps

Overview

When you pick up the Springfield 1911 Marine Corps Operator 45 ACP with range bag and 2 magazines, you are holding a piece of service history adapted for modern shooters. This pistol was developed in collaboration with active-duty Marine Corps forces, meaning every contour, every angle, and every tolerance was scrutinized by professionals who carry a sidearm in extreme conditions. The result is a 1911 that feels familiar yet distinctly purposeful, with a parkerized finish that shrugs off sweat and humidity. It is a complete setup that saves you the hassle of hunting down accessories separately.

Features & Specs

The Springfield 1911 Marine Corps Operator 45 ACP with range bag and 2 magazines is built on a forged carbon steel frame and slide, matched with a stainless steel barrel. It ships with two 7-round magazines and a padded nylon range bag that has multiple pockets for ear pro, ammo boxes, and tools. Here is what stands out:

• Forged slide and frame with military-spec parkerized finish for corrosion resistance and a non-glare surface.
• Novak LoMount carry rear sight and a tritium front sight for fast target acquisition in low light.
• Extended beavertail grip safety, skeletonized trigger, and an ambidextrous thumb safety for a secure, repeatable grip.

This model also includes a full-length guide rod and a lowered and flared ejection port for reliable feeding and extraction. The trigger pull breaks clean around 5 pounds, consistent with a duty-grade pistol that does not require a gunsmith to be usable out of the box.
